Christina Strand's Rex swivel chair has been extremely well received in North America. Originally designed by Copenhagen based Strand for a 2003 Danish design competition, sponsored by the Crown Prince of Denmark (Rex was the winning design!)

Rex has found a very warm reception from leading International architects, interior designers and chair aficionados.

Strand's clever bent wood design delivers striking visual interest from both the front and back. The unique structural design of the seat and back shell has an adherent flexing motion which enhances comfort for the user.

Rex is available fully upholstered or in a beautiful stained wood (walnut or birch) version with an upholstered seat. Graded fabrics are available from Kvadrat and Gabriel with a wide range of leather choices from Hightower Group.

The custom designed base has a matt chrome finish with a full auto return function. The dimensions of the Rex chair are W 28 D 25.2 H 32.3 SH 16.6 (Model #R100).
